In five years I was fast approaching 50 and I’ve never seen the inside of a gym. Now well into my 50s I have never really missed a weekly session at Crosstrain Double Bay. Whilst I am certainly not convert to “gym” I can see the improvement mainly in my balance and strength. Last year I figured I could do with dropping 20 kg and I’m well on my way having dropped 13 kg so far thanks in a large part to Anthony’s support.
I guess the reason I keep coming back is not one session has ever been the same in nearly 8 years. Anthony keeps it interesting, varied, and geared to suit my needs.
I’m certainly no gym junkie but with my other exercise (Yoga, swimming, hiking) I feel I’m getting a great balance of activity. As a completely disinterested indoor exerciser, I would highly recommend this time of training with Anthony for people who are reluctant to join a traditional gym.

With the introduction of the Crosstrain program things have really ramped up a notch for me, and I feel myself getting fitter and stronger, not to mention the weight loss with the support of my eating plan…

When I started doing Crosstrain at Crosstrain Double Bay I thought I would quit. After three years of Pilates and (as it turns out quite literally) cardio training I felt reasonably fit but definitely no thinner and although I’ll be there to tone up I definitely did hope to lose a few kilos two.
When my cardio sessions became Crosstrain sessions and everything changed. Crosstrain was fun and hard and I found the combination a personal challenge irresistible.
I am no Crosstrain pinup that’s for sure, and my personal work out might not be challenged to many of you but for me it is testing and rewarding to improve my time every single week. I also really love the quick change over from one exercise to another which makes the pain and intensity manageable.
I very quickly felt myself getting fitter and thinner too. And trying to lose weight I found it if I do Crosstrain on my diet days it really turbocharges the weight loss. Go for it!

I’ve been going to Anthony’s Crosstrain for almost two years. It is the only gym that I go to happily. The reason is that Anthony really cares that you get results. We do an hour class and it goes very quickly as there is a big variety of exercises. The other reason it goes quickly is that it is a pleasant environment. It is a small friendly gym but still serious in that we work hard based on our fitness and capacity. Anthony will challenge you to progress to heavier weights with the objective to make you as strong as possible. That’s why I’m loyal and go three times a week because I’ve become stronger and more toned since I’ve been going to Crosstrain. I used to do Pilates and other things I now only workout with Anthony as I’ve achieved great results whilst feeling part of a small community.
